WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF THE AUGUSTA KENNEL CLUB!

The Augusta Kennel Club, located in Augusta, Georgia, enjoys a rich history since it's establishment in 1946. Our primary goals are to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of purebred dogs, to promote responsible pet ownership throughout our community, and to conduct sanctioned matches and dog shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

The Augusta Kennel Club, Inc. is a member of the American Kennel Club, Inc. The club holds two all breed AKC sanctioned shows each year, one in the Spring at the Peach Blossom Cluster in Perry, GA, and one in the Fall in North Augusta.

Our club consists of members who are judges, breeders, trainers, exhibitors, owners and dog fanciers, who with their dogs promote and participate in conformation, obedience, rally, herding, agility, breed rescue, tracking, therapy dog programs, field trials, lure coursing and working dog sport / schutzhund.

Our meetings are open to the public and visitors are welcome! They are held in the meeting room of the Wachovia Bank Building in the Daniel Village Shopping Center, the first Wednesday of every month, at 8:00 p.m. Click here for map.
